# 2 Strength training For body sculpting and fat loss.
Losing body fat is great for your health and makes you look and feel better about yourself. It is the driving force behind most people’s health and fitness goals, to achieve this, people have tended to focus on cardio and aerobic exercise running, cycling etc. The past few years has seen a dramatic rise in both males and females incorporating strength training into their exercise routines and in 2010 this will continue to gain momentum as we realize our results will be improved with strength training. There are many South Africans who train exclusively using weights, the bodybuilding community has been increasing and so has its following. Within this a new niche group of fitness enthusiasts has develop and in 2010 we will see an increase in this group as the interest in strength training for body sculpting. Its main focus being weight training to simply increase or maintain strength and tone their bodies and improve their health and wellbeing as they age. The result - bodies that will look shapelier and toned, bones and muscles will become stronger, and as a direct result you will have less back pain and be able to do everyday activities with greater ease and efficiency.
